ABOUT
I’m Danielle, a recent First Class Honours graduate in BSc (Hons) Digital Media from Robert Gordon University.
My background has given me a mix of creative, technical and practical skills, but I’m especially drawn to UX/UI design because I enjoy creating digital experiences that feel clear, thoughtful and easy to use. I like designing interfaces that solve real problems and reduce friction.
Before university, I studied HND Web Development at NESCol and was awarded an A for my final graded unit. This gave me a strong foundation in HTML, CSS, web design and problem solving. During my degree, I built on this through projects involving UX research, interface design, branding, prototyping, front-end development, animation and visual storytelling.
My final year project at RGU, Heather, allowed me to bring together the parts of design I enjoy most: research, empathy, visual design, and creating something with a clear purpose. It confirmed that I’d like to continue developing my skills in UX/UI and work towards a junior role where I can keep learning, contribute to meaningful projects and grow as a designer.
I’m now looking for opportunities in junior UX/UI design, digital design, or front-end-focused roles where I can combine creativity, user-centred thinking and a willingness to keep improving.
